Our strengths and weaknesses plays a great role in relation to supporting the different types of learning activity in schools. Using our strengths we need to focuses on doing more of “what you are good at rather than what you are” (http://www.kent.ac.uk) capable of doing. Usually high achievers spend their time and hard work in developing their strength to achieve the goal and managing their weaknesses. They may sometimes not have more strengths than compare to the average individual, but they HAVE learned how to utilise them in a better way and to they know how to apply them in a new situation (http://www.kent.ac.uk/careers/Choosing/strengths.htm). …show more content…
So the activity we choose must be age appropriate and well as interesting and useful to the learners. Teaching and training assistant must be focusing “on individual potential and styles, as well as on the needs of the surrounding system”. (http://www.businessballs.com/experiential_learning.htm)
The learning resources: activities may be affected if there are some lack of things or object needed for the activity for example pencil, ruler, and pen work sheet paint also the equipment. If there is a lack of these resources then the child will not met the required standard level of education, or there is a problem in the equipment like broken or not working, which in turn leads to waste of time in their learning .so everything need to be checked properly if its working or all the items in correct place for the kids to pick it easily before the lesson or the activities. This means the students will put their effort into this willingly and this makes their work 10 x better. Having interest means the pupils will engage it in their selves and it makes the environment so much better. Also, seeing your pupils smiling whilst working shows that they have interest and it put smiles on everyone else’s face too. In addition this can increase their education progress. “To ensure that planned teaching and learning activities are implemented effectively”, (http://www.ocr.org.uk).
You need to have many teaching strategies to suit different people with different needs. Some kids may need extra support due to the fact of disabilities, or kids may need harder work because of ore general knowledge-this will vary between each child. To achieve each and every kid’s individual goal is not as easy as it seems. Different techniques are needed to reach particular goals as every child is unique is some
