1. Explain the strengths or skills that you have and how they contribute to either academic or personal accomplishments?

My academic strengths include mathematical and technological skills. I am skilled at problem solving and calculating numbers. I am able to achieve good grades in my math classes and be apart of the National Junior Honor Society. My technological skills come from my contribution to the robotics club. In the robotics club I use simple and complex wiring structures to build robots. Since I am in the robotics club I am able to attend robotic competitions and compete for a certificate. My personal strengths include camping and scout skills. My camping skills include cooking, building, and preparing Webelos for boy scouts. We presented the research to 6th graders to help them become more aware members of society. This has helped me develop as a citizen by learning to teach others about important issues in society.
4. Identify community activities you are involved in and explain how they have help you to develop as a productive citizen.

As a Boy Scout, I have helped other scouts complete community based Eagle Scout projects. One of the projects I took part in was renovating a churches courtyard. Another project I took part in was building picnic benches in a church park. Another activity I was involved in was the building of Angle Park. Angle Park is an important park because it is the first park in the community that is fully handicap accessible. These experiences have taught me to give back to the community and allowed me to see the benefits of helping make my community a better place to live.
