I was born in September 1977 and raised in a small village called "Elmabni" which locates in eastern of Benghazi City. It is the second largest city in Libya. Moreover, it has the best schools so far in the county. I come from a big family, I have six brothers, I am the second oldest son, and I have five sisters, we all lived in the same house, we get on very well. Despite the fact that my parents have not got an opportunity to complete their education, my father and mother always have emphasized the importance of learning and education within our family, and also they taught us we should be accepting of all people, regardless of their religion, income, and level of education. All my brothers and sisters have earned bachelor 's degrees from different schools. Most of them are married with kids. I studied only the elementary and preparatory stages at Elmabni School in my village and while the high school was in another town. When I finished the high school stage, I enrolled in the College of Education at Benghazi University in 1997. I studied English language and education. All of my teachers were graduated from the USA, and some other graduated from the UK. As I study to be a teacher of English, another influential person in my decision to become a successful teacher was my literature and research methodology professor, Mr. Mohammad Abubaker. Mr. Abubaker was the Secretary of Higher Education in Libya between 2013- 2015. His teaching style was very effective. He explores my love to teaching for thus, he decided and wanted me to complete my higher study when I get my bachelor’s degree. After I had my bachelor’s, I was appointed to teach in high schools in 2000. Luckily, in December 2014, I came back to the US to pursue my goal. Now I am admitted at Tennessee State University to continue my doctorate in the College of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I am majoring in curriculum planning.
