In the book Boxer was the hard worker. He had two mottos “Napoleon’s always right “ and “ I will work harder”. In the book when he went to the knacker it seemed more of a sudden thing like he was just gone in the morning and never said Goodbye to the other animal. Boxer also was smarter in the book. He was also more aware of his surroundings and what’s going on around him( Orwell n.p.).

In the book Mr. Jones was a good honest man with a bit of a drinking problem. He like his alcohol, but that's not a sin if used in moderation. But, He took it too far. Especially when he didn’t feed the animals on the night that started the revolution. If he feed the animals that night he probably still had the farm. In the book the readers pictured him as a kind looking, smart guy, and had manners. ( Orwell n.p.)
The movie depicted him as a lazy, rude man, cheater, and did care about the animals. He was drunk all the time. He went out and partied instead of taking care of the animals and left the work of the farm to his wife. He was also really close to losing the farm too. He had debt collectors coming to his door threatening to take the farm because of all the money he owed them. When he couldn't afford to pay off his collectors he threw a party to get together with all the other local farmer. Where he got drunk and cheated on his wife with his debt collectors wife. He came back later in the movie to blow up the windmill that the animals worked so hard on. When he blew up the windmill he also totaled his car because a piece of the windmill fell on his car. His totaled car also got incorporated into the new windmill. (Animal
