The book and movie both had a great way to tell it. It is very old book and movie. The book was made April 24, 1967. The movie came out March 25, 1983. The book is very good and long and had detail and makes readers watch the movie. The movie is also long but has more detail and shows what happened. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.

First of all, the first comparable scene is when the socs are running from the rumble. In the book the socs run and in the movie. Also in this scene the greaser are cheering same with the movie.
