Ali did an excellent job writing his story about how he found theater. ‘Grease’ is one of my favorite movies of all time, which is initially what grabbed my attention. However, after reading this article I realized it was much more than a person discussing ‘Grease’. This article was a story about how someone with not a lot of opportunities followed his passion, and found what he loves to do. I think it a story many people find inspiring and would want to follow Ali’s footsteps. Through this article, I learned that no matter how difficult a task is, it can be accomplished if you set your mind to it. I also learned that by exploring different things such as going to see plays can lead to someone finding their “fix.” This article was one of my favorite articles because it showed how watching a play influenced Ali to follow his passion and become a director. This article was well narrated, very interesting to read and I believe it did a great job in addressing the topic.
