I try to write shows where even the bad guy's got his reasons.”In every story there is a villain and a hero, but that doesn't mean that they will always be represented the same way. A villain is someone who makes the reader feel the anger, the hatred and the judgmentalness against. In The Kite Runner, Amir isn't always portrayed as someone bad, but he does create the plot and problems that the other characters go through, therefore, making himself the villain of his own film. Amir is a villain because his first instinct is to think about himself first, he is afraid of the consequences of his own actions, and decides to do what isn't right even
