This method is used for lectures that are heavy and somewhat organized. The way an individual uses this method is to with every new thought, fact or idea record them on a different line and number the line. The first step is to observe and adapt to what direction the lecture goes. The second is to record and make brief notes on a different page for each new lecture. The third and final note-taking tip from Rasmussen College is to review, always make sure to review the notes within the twenty-four-hour window and edit words and phrases that are illegible in a different color pen.
