Youth Court Personal Statement

Being a youth court member, you are making a commitment to behave in a courteous, respectful and professional manner at all times. Being able to treat all youth court matters seriously and maturely. With the ability at hand, to help other young people within there community and being a positive role model for other young people. Youth Court is a program in which, teens are questioned, represented and sanction by their own peers. Quest Youth Court of Innovation, decides what is important based on the case. Depending on what it is; we were only allowed to handle referring cases from the Police Department, Department of Probation, Law Department, Family Court, Criminal Court, Schools, Parents and Community members apart of local organizations. They would conclude be organized, having time management and being realistic with yourself. Being organized within a course includes, having your notes and classwork together. Having time management in place is very important because, personally from my experience of having to do list in place and reminders help me. Working two jobs is not easy and can be very tiring so, in order for me to have my work completed on time; I have reminders in place. However, being realistic with your self in any given situation is very important. Having two jobs is not easy and can be very tiring with that being said; that my class work is very important to me. That I am unable to manage two jobs anymore. Therefore, requires me to be very realistic about my given situation of my passion for law.
