Solar energy is the future. Solar energy is where the earth receives from the sun primarily as visible light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation. It has many benefits. In solar energy we can get energy that is clean and not harmful for our environment. It requires sun and is needed to be placed in an appropriate spot in order to function properly. The energy can be used in many ways to help us get work done and be more productive with our environment. Solar energy has many benefits for example less usage of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are a natural fuel such as coal or gas, formed in the geological past from the remains of living organisms. Solar energy is about as natural a source of power as it is possible to create electricity. The …show more content…
This means that when we use it, the energy produced will be able to be used again. Solar energy is not only sustainable and totally inexhaustible unlike fossil fuels that are finite. Solar energy is a renewable resource and that means that we will never run out of it. Fossil fuels will not last forever we should start to use other sources of energy before it is too late. Solar energy is a lot more reliable and will last longer than any other nonrenewable resource. Traditional electricity can let out gases which can be harmful. Although traditional electricity is sourced from fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas. When fossil fuels are burned to produce electricity they admit harmful gasses that are the primary cause of air pollution and global warming. Solar city carbon footprint per unit of energy production is 95% lower than that of fossil fuel power plants. I interviewed a close friend Mckennah Oddi a senior at Bishop Watterson. She agrees that solar energy is a better option. She thinks solar energy is a great way to generate power. Also she says solar energy is renewable, environment friendly and it saves money. She doesn’t know of anyone that uses solar panels for energy. If she had the option she would put solar panels on her home because it reduces air

Easily applicable solar panels can be built everywhere and help save electricity in multiple boroughs not just the Bronx. A major advantage of Solar energy is that it is a renewable resource. A renewable resource is a resource which is replaced naturally and can be used again. As stated in document 2 "Solar Power-Advantages and Disadvantages” written by David ,“Solar energy is a completely renewable resource”. This is showing an advantage because the energy can be repeatedly used to produce more energy.…

Both the two power sources provide electricity for humans but, solar power is more convenient so it is better. Both nuclear and solar power are power sources for humans. Solar and nuclear power take up a lot of land to build. Solar power is more convenient that nuclear power because, you need to build a power plant for nuclear and dig for the uranium so solar is more convenient, you will also need to dig for the uranium to get the power. So solar power is more convenient than nuclear power.…

Solar energy is renewable source, which means we can never run out of the sunshine. Due to which, utilizing energy from the natural renewable sources like the sun, dependence on sources such as oil and coal that are harmful to environment can be decreased. As shown in figure 2, the solar energy is a renewable energy source. Although, energy that is produced from other sources like coal and natural gas are expensive as well as they are not renewable. Moreover, people have been able to capture some of the sun’s energy that falls to earth and convert it into usable power for a variety of practical uses such as for cooking, heating, and to power everyday appliances.…

This makes investments in solar power much more appealing due to low risk and quick rewards. Another advantage solar facilities have over oil and gas pipelines or nuclear facilities is that they are much less vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Solar energy, like all renewable energy resources, does not produce hazardous wastes and are geographically dispersed. Solar energy also has a great outlook in the future as costs of Photorvoltaic systems, also called solar cells, are declining in price by about five percent a year while the efficiency of these cells improve (Wright and Boorse 401). As a final note, the solar energy resource is much more abundant than the limited fossil and nuclear fuel resources.…

One of the chief producers of photovoltaic energy is the solar panel. Each new generation of solar panels produces more energy cheaper than the previous making it a viable solution to energy problems in poor rural areas as well. Solar panel’s low cost and reliability enable those living outside major urban areas of a developing country to still have a bright light when it gets dark or when the power grid goes down. Its technical features reinforce…

For example renewable energy resources are a source of inexhaustible energy. Sun power, wind power, hydroelectric power, hydrokinetic energy, and geothermal energy are types of energies that can never deplete. Most renewable energy sources emit less greenhouse gases which slows down the process of global warming. We shouldn’t also forget that greenhouse gases also affect our health. It would be a healthier world if we use clean renewable energy sources.…

I think solar energy would be the most effective energy for the United States to develop. The energy cost has dropped because the technology improved. Although some still argue that solar energy is costly, it is beneficial to the environment because it is efficient, it will not give off harmful gases, and it is easily accessible. Solar energy is powered by sunlight, which converts it into solar heating and electricity. There are two types of solar heating systems, active and passive power; solar energy uses this to make electricity.…

To start with, it does not require any fuels in operation. Besides, it is not only cleaner than fossil fuel but also solar energy in that absolutely no pollutants are produced. Moreover, it is far less risky than nuclear energy. Nevertheless, someone may argue that it is again not reliable as the direction and intensity of wind are varying continuously. Furthermore, it will cause noise pollution and affect both the natural scenery and ecosystem.…
