Abortion Pro-choice v's Pro-life has been an argument fought about for a long time. This argument is fully based on morals, and or what one person believes he or she should have the ability to make decisions about. Abortion has been legalized in all 50 states of America. Although it has been legalized, each state has the power to deny abortions (unless the health of the mother is at risk) through a law called the trigger law.
Each state has different regulations on abortion. Virginias laws include: no abortions after third trimester unless the mother’s health is at risk, all abortions after the first trimester have to be done by a licensed hospital, and all women before an abortion must have an ultrasound of their baby. Other states have

Some women if under the age of 18 can have problems having children later on in life. Although this does not happen often, it is a possibility that needs to be considered before having an abortion. There are possible long term effects like infections, damage to the cervix, damage to other organs, and scarring. These are less common but are more likely to have long term damage. Short term effects could include back pain, cramps, fever, and drowsiness and dizziness.
Besides the effects that it could have on the mother there are several moral reasons against abortion. Many do not believe that the baby is a baby until it is born, and so they do not believe that an abortion is wrong or that it is killing a baby. Most people who believe this are not Christians either and have no moral reason or any higher being that says it is wrong. And although they don’t believe this it is true and God says that abortions are wrong and that a baby is a baby at the point of conception.
There are many verses in the bible showing how abortion is wrong. Deuteronomy 30:19 says “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, that you and your children may live”. This verse may not relate directly to abortion, but it shows our purpose in life and shows that we were created with a purpose and a reason in everything that happens to

Abortion for another reason is completely immoral to me. I substantiate that life began in conception, without conception no person in the world would be born. The fetus stage is scientifically and natural part of an evolution of the human life cycle. Abortion is to terminate a human being in any stage of life, then abortion, ending a life of the fetus, is absolutely wrong. Killing is murder and murder are ethical absolutes.…

Pro Choice vs. Pro Life There are many reasons on both sides of this issue of why people believe it is or is not okay to have an abortion. Many believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to end her pregnancy or not. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared that it is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. Many would also believe that in choosing to end her pregnancy, she is committing murder, and that although the child is unborn, it is still a living being with the same right to live as its mother. Pro Choice gives women the right to decide if having a child is right for her, and that choice does not end the moment she becomes pregnant.…

It’s not easy to decide which side to be on because there is a large amount of factors to consider. People who are opponents of abortion are against abortion. The pro- life group believes that there is no other reason that can be considered moral to abort the fetus except when the reason for abortion is to save the life of the mother. multiple factors can influence a person 's reason for being a pro- lifer, but personal values and religious beliefs is a large contributor. If a person is pro- choice, that means that they believe than only the woman in question has the right to decide what to do with her body and the pregnancy, It is also that the government has no say in the decision the woman makes regarding the…

I personally follow Catholicism which is strongly against abortion no matter the circumstance. The Catholic church says "human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception,” which is when the sperm and the egg meet to creating life. We do not have the capacity to choose life or death for a defenseless fetus. Pope John Paul II teaches that “life is always good”, and God in creating man “in the image and likeness of God.” A human being a limited but true mirror of God’s glory, has a sublime dignity and his life is held to be inviolable.…

It is understandable to see why a mother would abort her child if her life is at risk, but this is at the expense of a baby, who has no part in the decision. The topic of abortion is such a controversial topic. I tend to think it’s a black and white topic: the right solution is obvious, but others see this topic as a gray area. It’s really important to look into the science and biblical aspects of abortion before making a decision on which side you fall on. It is never good to make a choice blindly, you need to know why you believe/support what you do. I believe abortion is not right and that life begins at conception.…
