Controversial Topic Of Abortion Research

The topic of abortion is such a controversial topic. I tend to think it’s a black and white topic: the right solution is obvious, but others see this topic as a gray area. It’s really important to look into the science and biblical aspects of abortion before making a decision on which side you fall on. It is never good to make a choice blindly, you need to know why you believe/support what you do. I believe abortion is not right and that life begins at conception. I have done my research and strongly believe in my opinion. What is an abortion? An abortion is “the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy” (dictionary.com). There are several ways to have an abortion. The two ways are by an abortion pill and …show more content…
Exodus 21:22-25 shows that God views an unborn child as a live human life. God gave the rule to the Israelites that if someone injures a pregnant women they would have to pay a fine if the baby was born prematurely. If the baby was injured they would have to pay “a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot, a burn for a burn, a bruise for a bruise, a wound for a wound” (God’s Word Translation). This passage shows that God really does care about the unborn children and views them the same as people who are already born. Deuteronomy 27:25 says, “Whoever accepts money to kill an innocent person will be cursed” (God’s Word Tranlsation). God takes the issue of the taking of life very seriously. The unborn babies are His creation. He created them and wants them on this earth for a purpose. People who disregard this and have or support abortions are in danger of serious consequences. In conclusion, many people think that whenever people pick their stance on abortion they either take a biblical or scientific stance on the issue, but in reality when you look at both, a person be united in science and the Bible and come to the realization that abortion is never okay. Scientifically and Biblically there is proof that life begins at conception. Life is a beautiful gift. God is the giver of life and we as His creation do not have the right to take on His roll and take life by

Abortion for another reason is completely immoral to me. I substantiate that life began in conception, without conception no person in the world would be born. The fetus stage is scientifically and natural part of an evolution of the human life cycle. Abortion is to terminate a human being in any stage of life, then abortion, ending a life of the fetus, is absolutely wrong. Killing is murder and murder are ethical absolutes.…

Abortion is the conscious decision to choose to end a pregnancy. Although gruesome, an abortion is, in simple, nonmedical terms when a child inside the womb is torn apart and taken out of the mother’s body. In some events, when it’s been more than twenty-four weeks of pregnancy, the doctor is forced to pull the fetus out of the mother and stab in in the neck with a sharp item. The brain is then sucked out of the neck with a vacuum like medical tool. Due to the amount of research and knowledge we have on the human body, nowadays there is also an option to abort a child by ingesting pills.…

Abortion has been around for quit sometime now, and its support is only getting stronger. Advocates of abortion emphasize one’s ability to have the choice of whether that person wants to keep the baby or not. They believe that the person that was conceived is technically not a human being yet, and is a person once the mother has given birth to the child. Because they believe that the person they are aborting is not a human, it is then okay to end its life. They make arguments such as having the option of abortion will help victims of rape, incest, or if the person is just not ready to have a child.…

Why do some think that is it okay to take that right away from those that have no voice to speak for themselves? Unborn babies, starting at eight-weeks, feel real physical pain during the procedure (Willke). Abortions are not performed before the eighth week, so all children involved in abortions feel the pain of them being taken out of their mother who decided to give them the terrible fate of death (Abortion Facts). The sixth commandment in the bible states, “Thou shalt not kill,” this applies to all human beings, born or unborn. The decision to kill an unborn child because of the fact that he or she will have disabilities is discrimination.…

The holy scripture, which is the blueprint of Christianity, speaks against any form of murder. God values all forms of life, and according to the Bible, human life begins at conception. The book of Jeremiah 1:5 states that, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” This verse and others buttress the point that human life starts right away, therefore termination of pregnancy at any point of gestation is murder. God’s plan for humans might be different from ours.…
