Pro life versus pro choice has been on of the most debated topics around the world by Christians and non Christians alike. People who have a Christian or pro life worldview take a stance against abortion due to their moral and religious judgments that acknowledge the life and importance of the unborn. Unlike those who are pro life, those who support pro choice believe that an unborn fetus is nothing but cells and that if a woman chooses to terminate her pregnancy than it is moral and she should have the full right to end the pregnancy. . While many believe that the lives of the unborn can be terminated due to financial, health, and family issues, pro life supporters believe that God created each unborn child for a reason and it is immoral for their life to be taken away. Although many people who support pro life might not share a Biblical worldview many base their pro life belief on religious authority and the word of God and the sanctity of the lives that He has created. Those who support abortion do what is best for the pregnant woman they say that women should be able to make choices when it comes to their body no matter if it effects the lives of others

When someone has an abortion they are compromising the life that the Lord created and selfishly putting their will above the will of the creator of the one who created life. Psalm 127:3 reminds us that children are a gift from God just like every other creation. If God has chosen to gift a woman with a child it is not right for her to chose if the child can live or if she should destroy the Lords perfect gift, but she should praise the Lord for the gift of His creation. The Bible states in Ephesians 2:10 that we are created in Christ and for God, taking away His creation is heinous and defiant to

This Gale database source is a very useful reference book that contains a variety of information regarding the two views on abortion. I am pro-choice and this article takes the stance of both sides, pro-choice and pro-life, to argue for and against both opposing views. The article states that people may be pro-life mainly because killing an unborn fetus may seem wrong to many. However, there are other factors that lead people to being pro-life, such as ending a life in general is outright blasphemy, forgetting the fact that the baby has not been born yet. On the other hand, people who are pro-choice believe that the women who is giving birth has the knowledge to control her body.…

Pro-lifers argue that it is the woman’s duty to her genetic child and that it overrules her right to control her own body and the life inside of it. Pro-lifers say that the fetus is a human being, a person, and has a right to life. IAdditionally, some people argue that third parties, the abortionist, should remain neutral between the fetus and the mother’s life because women cannot easily abort themselves. Others, such as Thomson, argue that abortionists do not need to be neutral but can side with the house’s owner in situations that are life threatening…

The debate over abortion rages on as one of the most controversial issues present today; individuals choose sides, labeling themselves as pro-choice or pro-life. Activists fight for what they believe on both sides, some fighting for more protection of women’s reproductive rights on the pro-choice side, others fighting for the limitation of the right to abortion on the pro-life side. Advocates and subsequently movements on both sides have fought each other since the first legislation on abortion in the 1800s. Lobbyists, angered by what they perceive as unjust killings of unborn babies as well as due to their religious beliefs, formed pro-life movements, responding to the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of abortion. The church as well as various…

The church also believes that the human life begins at the womb all the way to the tomb. In today’s societies around the world, there is currently two factions of the highly controversial topic of abortion and whether it should be allowed or outlawed. These two factions on opposite sides are pro-choice and pro-life. Pro-choice supporters in essence believes a woman has the right to an abortion if she decides to do so. On the other hand, pro-life supporters believe the fetus is its own human being and has the right to live, thus an abortion cannot be performed on the woman. One reason abortion is a social issue is because people don’t know whether it should be either illegalized or legalized everywhere. Tom Anderson says,” if abortions become illegalized then it will have a significant impact on women and would cause society to become like the third world. ”(Anderson,3) Which he describes as a place where the population suffers from poverty, malnutrition, treatable disease, poor health care, unemployment and lastly a place where women feel little empowerment concerning their reproductive lives. There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Abortion has been around for quit sometime now, and its support is only getting stronger. Advocates of abortion emphasize one’s ability to have the choice of whether that person wants to keep the baby or not. They believe that the person that was conceived is technically not a human being yet, and is a person once the mother has given birth to the child. Because they believe that the person they are aborting is not a human, it is then okay to end its life. They make arguments such as having the option of abortion will help victims of rape, incest, or if the person is just not ready to have a child.…
