In the nearly final scene, Juror #3 rips up a picture he has of his son. We do not know exactly why, but it is evident that Juror #3 holds a grudge against his son. His son is brought up at the beginning of the story but is touched on very lightly. We learn at the end of the movie that the feelings Juror #3 had towards his son were being reflected onto the teen on trial. Having more of a backstory for this juror can make the audience sympathize him and understand why he is how he is. Overall, 12 Angry Men the play was made pretty accurate representation of the screenplay. The movie 12 Angry Men displayed differences in the roles of characters, adding scenes, and a changed ending. The changes made were for the most part a good addition and contributed in a positive way towards the film. This was a good screenplay to read and a good movie to watch because of the interesting themes and plot, and is a story I would happily watch and read
