In Moria Young’s book Blood Red Road the main character Saba; a strong willed eighteen year old girl is faced with rescuing her brother from the mysterious forces which have captured him. Lugh, Saba’s twin brother has been a part of her life ever since they were born, and without him she has no feeling of identity. In her quest to find Lugh, Saba faces many treacherous circumstances which she must overcome. These circumstances change her as a person and instil in her, her own sense of individualism.
