When Lugh was captured, Saba promised to find him where ever he may be; this became her motivation, in addition she believes that her younger sister Emmi is completely useless and that she herself is a follower as opposed to a leader. In order to find Lugh, Saba crosses the Sandsea among other things; she deals with her younger sister Emmi and leads her friends to Freedom Fields. As a result of finding Lugh and her quest of doing so Saba realises who she is a person, she develops a loving relationship with Emmi and becomes a leader.
