A contractor was hired by the city to trim some pine trees outside city council to touch up the area. However there were bald eagle nests up in the tree and when he trimmed it those nests they fell to the ground and the chicks died upon hitting the ground. In the nests there were a number of feathers and those were suppose to be taken by the government to be given to native americans for their headpieces. The problem was that some bystanders knew that bald eagle feathers are worth a pretty penny so they proceed to snatch them and run away.
