Deforestation is an important environmental issue in the world today. We deforest areas for money, jobs, supplies, for building, and also for raising beef. But what happens to the forest when we do that a lot of things happen. For instants some areas become dessert like, it also contributes to a long term increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and it disrupts the water cycle in the area. By doing this we are affecting the earth and animals in a major scale. By deforesting, animals either have to find new homes or die most animals are become extinct because of this act. And if the rainforest are gone they are more than likely to be gone forever. You cant stop deforestation but you could reduce it by recycling. Almost similar to slash and burn, slash and burn is a technique people use to make the soil in the ground rich and perfect for growing plants. They burn an area of trees and after that they plant seeds in the area they burned but its risky because if gone wrong the fire could spread at a massive scale and kill many animals and humans. It also releases a large amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It is a technique that has been going on for thousands of years. But that is the only way to keep family’s fed. But by doing this attempt leads to flooding and vegetation can make existing drought conditions. When trees have been cut down or burned the CO2 that is stored in them is released into the atmosphere.

The atmosphere heat traps all the gas that’s has been released from fallen trees which causes global warming. Global warming causes trees from growing, wild fires, and death to humans and animals. By continuing to cut trees we are raising the temperature higher and higher. Plus by cutting trees we are losing food like vegetables and fruit.
