In order to reduce work-life conflict and allow employees to manage their personal as well as professional life in an equally efficient manner, the concept of work life balance is gaining popularity amongst various organizations. There been a paradigm shift in the thought process of taking work life balance as only means of allowing employees to give equal attention towards their family responsibilities from only looking at them from the perspective of their contribution towards enhancing organizational performance and along with this it is also helpful in engaging employee and giving them a sense of pride to work in the particular environment.

1.2 Purpose of the study:

This research is intended to obtain the impact of work life balance practices over the performances of the employees. In an organization there are various family-friendly practices which are implemented in order to help employees to maintain a balance between their personal and professional life. In recent year work life balance has emerged as a topic of great interest for researchers, academicians and organizations as well because it acts as a source of various benefits for the organization and individuals as well.
In most of the researches, work life balance is considered as a source of retaining productive employees, improving health, reducing stress, increasing job satisfaction, employee engagement which are at the end drivers of the effective performance at work place. But almost very few studies try to quantify this relationship among work life balance and performance. There is lack of data which provides the information of is work life balance practices were able to enhance productivity because most of the employers neglects to monitor and evaluate the benefits arising out of their policies assuming the profitability as a result.
This paper tries to find out that does performance of the employees increase/decrease due to any changes in their policies or not? Are organizations accomplishing the goals they want their policies to reflect? In short a relationship between the Work life balance
