This research paper is based on the concepts and context of communication and the consistency in communicating on verbal and nonverbal pathways. In addition the paper will look at two teams, one being well structured with good leadership and feedback while the second team needs some skill building training in interpersonal communications and conflict resolutions. Mostly all communication is based on the cultural aspects of human relations, the way we learn and speak and relay verbal and nonverbal messages is part of interpersonal communication. For the second team this is the focus including interpersonal communication and conflict resolutions. This however, is not the case for the first team. In addition, one of the advantages cross cultural competency is that it fosters leaders and team members to engage in dialogs with each other while continuing to increase cultural literacy. Cross cultural competency also fosters in the developing a list of ideas and thoughts based on multicultural issues (Jones, 2014). Through effective communication a shared responsibility by the second team shows the abilities to listen and understand the levels of expectations and carefully commit to their agenda by focusing on team out comes and performance without conflict. While working together this team has developed cultural pathways to communicate, solve problems, make decisions and resolve conflict if it arises. Trust is a support system for effective communication and active listening. For this reason individual members share information voluntarily, and as consequences of trusting, individuals are willing to share ideas and optional information. Between both of these teams one acknowledge cross cultural communication and the importance of it by multicultural knowledge on part of the leadership. Agendas and goals were made clear and accomplished. In contrast the second team showed no respect or politeness for the leadership, they did not accept responsibility or did they show responsibility because they were late for meetings, over talking the leader, holding un-meaningful conversations and allowing volunteers to do their work for them.
