Why I Want To Attend College

University of Madison-Wisconsin is unique in that it’s the only school located in our state capital. Therefore, some reasons I would like to attend this university would be because of its academic diversity, location, and size of the campus. As of now, my intended major is definitely undecided because I have no ideas what I plan on doing with the rest of my life. I presume that the University of Madison-Wisconsin, with its 136 majors, will be able to provide me with many different academic opportunities. I favor this because then, if I end up changing my major or wanting a certificate, I wouldn’t have to switch college because Madison is full of many different academic options. This is optimal for me because I prefer tradition and uniformity. My ideal situation would be to choose one college and stay there for all of my undergraduate education. …show more content…

Finally, if I do get too homesick, I could easily drive home for a weekend with my

When he explained the countless opportunities the University has available, I really began to think of how that would benefit me. To be straightforward, I am highly impressed with University of Wisconsin’s academics. Although I am satisfied with my high school transcript, I know it does not portray the student I actually am. My A in AP psychology does not show how many questions I asked, how my curiosity kept me up studying extra information about the pituitary gland, or how I genuinely wanted to understand the material. My A in Spanish 3 does not show me trying to communicate with the numerous Hispanic bussers and dishwashers at work.…
