The University of Wisconsin-Madison has over 900 student organizations available, making it easy for students to find and choose an organization and be involved. There are many organizations that I am interested in joining at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, one being the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, because it correlates with my intended major, so this organization could help me thrive in that major. Another organization would be the Chinese Language and Culture Club (CLACC), because I have always loved Chinese culture as well as its language, having grown up in China from 2 months old to 5 years old. Joining this club would allow me to discuss the Chinese culture I had experienced with others and learn more about this fascinating culture. I feel that I would be able to bring more cultural diversity to the University of Wisconsin-Madison through clubs such as this because I had grown up in China, so sharing my experience of growing up there would definitely provide students there some insight into this culture that might be unknown to
