Ever since I was a little child, I enjoyed driving to Chicago almost every summer to visit family and explore the Windy City, and every time it seemed like I fell in love with it again. When I was looking around the nation for colleges to attend, one of the first ones that came up in my mind was Northwestern University. After diving into some information about the college and visiting the beautiful Evanston campus, I discovered that the college would be a perfect match for me. As an undecided student, the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences gives me the opportunity to explore many fields to help me decide what I want to do with my future. I have also discovered that Northwestern offers a unique educational opportunity. Northwestern is well known for its high rigor, and the college is able to support this with a modern campus on the shores of Lake …show more content…
It also offers great opportunities with its proximity to Chicago, one of America’s most cosmopolitan cities and a great location for both a rich social scene and an educational experience unlike any other. Northwestern also has many connections with programs in other countries, from its study abroad opportunities around the world to its own international campus in Qatar. The university has many connections to leaders of many kinds from many places, and many of them are Wildcat alumni. These connections not only allow for students to learn from the leaders in their fields, but also reflect on the confidence students have in their Northwestern education. After seeing both the passion that students show in what they do and the great opportunities available to students through the research I have done and my visit to campus, I too have confidence in the education that I will receive at Northwestern
