I think Paul had an early musical inspiration behind his soul that came with being around his father who was a musician. Because Paul and John both lost their mother as teenagers, it brought them closer together as they quickly related to something they both had in common.
Because George Harrison's father played guitar and George liked to listen to different genres of music, I think it influenced his early appreciation of music.
George's dad saw that he showed interest in playing and arranged for him to meet up with his old friend Len Houghton. That was where George learned some chords.
