Similarities Whole Foods Market has got its own benchmarks or required standards of performance. After evaluating the employee performance and assigning the scores, the performances are further compared to the standards that the company has established. Such standards offer the expected levels of the performances that the employees are expected to adhere to. Adverse deviation from the standards is not encouraged as it indicates that the employees are not performing as expected from them. No frills supermarket also have got its own established standards on what entails poor performance and a good one. Both companies base their compensation on the level of the performance. However, the motive behind this is quite different.
