In any organization collaboration amongst individuals is essential to succeeding. “Managers need to develop their interpersonal, or people, skills if they are going to be effective in their jobs” (Robbins, 2009, p. 34). This paper discusses my own personality type (ESFP), and how such personality plays a role in my own military organization, through various experiences. Finally, this paper will attempt to describe, both particularly and generally, what I learned from my personality type about organizational behavior and how it can make me a better employee, co-worker, and manager. Needs work

According to the Jung Typology Test offered online at, my personality type is ESFP (Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test, 2015). Needs work This test categorizes everyone’s personality into 16 types. Each of these types of personalities are defined by a letter, also known as preferences which have their own significance. Each of the preferences in my personality type have a specific definition, which provides greater detail of my personality type. For example, in my abbreviation, the letters stand for Extravert, Sensing, Feeling, and Perceiving.
