1. motivates me to do better. By finding great importance in my personal values I have been able to sustain from things I don’t believe in and become a better person through each experience. In the Five- Factor Inventory I scored high in Agreeableness. High Agreeableness types need a peaceful environment where they are well liked and appreciated. They tend to like and relate to the teacher as a person rather than an expert. Having this feature in my personality has helped me become a peacekeeper. I like to find the good in situations that may seem horrible. This trait also helps when building relationships with those of higher authority, while still being respectful I am able to form a bond that becomes beneficial. 2. People in the Extroversion category would be a good fit for psychology based on the interview because classes are held in a discussion format. Extraversion typically want faculty to use class discussion as a way of learning. Extraverted people tend to learn best when in action, since psychology is highly based on research this would be a good learning style because research is learning while doing. If an individual is pursuing psychology it is important and beneficial to have first-rate speaking and interpersonal skills. Psychology provides high activity and interpersonal contact for the Extravert. In the interview Anjali expressed participating in discussions is key to success. Extraverts have this skill which is needed to be successful. The Feeling type generally prefer allowing for the expression of humanitarian and spiritual values. Psychology allows for both of these. The major and profession allow people to express themselves. The material learned in the major consists of human studies and acknowledgement of personal values. Most individuals study psychology based on their interest in learning more about people.
