Hopes & Dreams
Samantha’s father wants the very best for her, he wants to see her develop and continue to reach goals with the support of the teachers. The father’s hopes and dreams is that Samantha always moves forward and never backwards and is treated and looked at as a normal child as he has always treated her as a normal child.
Concerns

Knowing that Samantha is a special needs student that is participating in a traditional classroom, they programs offers an environment that supports and works for all.
The staff takes the time to get to know the parents and build a relationship. They ensure that not only the teachers meet with the parents but ensure everyone is involved from the inclusion teacher to family services. 3). What kinds of supports and teaming did you observe in the classroom that ensured Samantha’s participation?
Samantha was doing all the same activities as the other kids, whether those activities were in smaller groups or larger ones. When the class was playing games or dancing, Samantha was right there interacting with the other children. She was not on her own or doing her own thing, she participated in all the actives same as all the other children.
One of the things that stood out at me was the fact that teacher made the classroom a more visual classroom as she knew that Samantha learned best from visuals. This wasn’t something special for Samantha; the visuals were for the entire class such as visuals of numbers for the children to
