He tries to save her and accidentally releases the quarantine horde of the malfunctioning robots causing a chaos in that section. Tired of WALL-E’s disruptions, EVE decides to send WALL-E back to Earth. At the escape pod bay, they witness another robot, GO-4 placing the plant inside a pod which is set to self-destruct mode. WALL-E enters the pod to get plant. The pod is launched to space before WALL-E is able to get himself out. Nonetheless, WALL-E is able to escape from the pod before it explodes. With EVE’s help, they manage to bring the plant to the captain. After analyzing EVE’s recording of Earth, captain McCrea concludes that humans must go back to Earth and restore the planet. However, auto (the auto pilot system of the Axiom) reveals its intention of not going back to Earth because of the directive made hundred years ago that Earth is believed to be permanently uninhabitable.
