The pursuit of knowledge is a recurring theme in Mary Shelly Frankenstein, as well in society today. Robert Walton, Victor Frankenstein, and the monster all are pursuing knowledge in this novel. The thirst of knowledge is what drives these characters into their actions. Such as Frankenstein who put everyone in danger because of his desire of science he made a monster who could threaten anyone. This is why Frankenstein can be interpreted as a warning against the pursuit of knowledge and its dangers if it's misused. When Robert Walton was first introduced he talked about the pursuit of knowledge, his voyage of discovery to the North Pole. They are in our house streets hospitals and military. They are taking over our jobs because they move faster than humans also you don't have to pay them to work.This is just like the monster in Frankenstein because once victor created the monster he took over his life. Just because we make technology that is better than humans we shouldn't trust it because somethings can go wrong like when the monster realize he could harm Victor because he wouldn't give him a mate or attention. Once robots get out of control you can't stop them like the monster. They say our moral reasoning is the glue that holds us together, but with robots we don't need to think about how to do things or what to do. This means we have to know the difference between between right and wrong but with robots doing all the work we won't need to think ,robots don't have moral reasoning so they could do something wrong and not care about if it hurts use or not. Without moral reasoning we would be all over the place not caring about others. Like the monster in Frankenstein he didn't know right from wrong so when he killed that little boy he didn't understand what he had done. Robots could do the same with humans if we built enough to work
