Victoria’s Secret advertisements consists of thin women rather than a variety of body types. In today’s society, everyone wants inclusion and representation; however, Victoria’s Secret ads do not meet the requirements. Advertising is a method to sell a good product, so does this infer that skinny women are good and other sizes are bad?
The ads of the models could resemble positivity or negativity. In the negative light, the ads intentions are to sell “good” products by using the “ideal” human of society. In this case, the circumstances for this method can kill a person’s self-esteem and increase securities.
