Vegetarianism: A diet evolving

Is the vegetarian diet worth the major change in lifestyle? This diet is evolving into more than just “doing it for the animals,” it could be that someone wants to improve their health or reduce their risk of cancer. According to dieticians and researchers, a person’s health can benefit immensely with a no meat diet. On the contrary, when your diet excludes meat, you are at more of a risk to mental health side effects. With every health and ethical reason put together, as well as the risks, is the vegetarian diet worth it?

What are the health reasons of a vegetarian diet?
Most common reasoning people adopt a vegetarian diet, are the health aspects. A multitude of reasons for this diet include: a lower risk of cancer and heart disease, a longer life span and a lower weight, as well as a healthier diet. The Center of Disease Control (CDC) reported that most disease outbreaks happen from protein such as meat, poultry, fish and seafood. If people cut down or fully get rid of their intake of meat and poultry then they could reduce the risk of disease and potentially live a longer and healthier life.
