Animal cruelty is one of the lowest qualities that humans have, being able to hurt innocent animals just to supply their hunger. Every second, 300 animals are killed in the USA alone. That number shows how America is being taken over by the meat industry. People have begun to turn vegan because they are embarrassed by the way humans treat animals. Vegans believe in animal rights because they are living, breathing beings that have feelings and emotions, just like humans. Yet people seem to believe they are better than animals so they abuse and murder animals even though they are equal. Many animals are killed when they don’t produce as much as they get older, even free range, woman are not killed when they stop producing children so why should …show more content…
Vegans are less likely to get many of the top killing diseases in the USA such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, or cancer than a normal meat eater. Not only is it not necessary for humans to eat meat, it is healthier to not eat meat. A common lie that is told is that humans must eat meat and drink milk to be healthy, in fact, humans were gatherers(vegans) until the ice age due to a loss vegetation and they were healthy. Milk comes from pregnant cows, that milk is meant for their calves, not for humans. The calves are ripped away from their mothers at birth leading them to a life of bad nutrition. Humans do not need to drink this milk because it is not meant for them. Cow milk is no different from dog milk or cat milk but no human drinks that. Humans drink their mother’s milk as babies but not as adults, proving that it is not necessary nor natural to drink milk as adults. Milk contains hormones meant for that specific animal. Abnormalities are the cause of humans drinking the milk that is not meant for them. Cow milk also contains blood and puss due to the mad conditions they are in at factories. Your diet comes from a cultural story that tells you what to eat, but that doesn’t mean it’s true.
