The family, school, and law enforcement have to work together to educate youth on the dangers of alcohol abuse. It must start at home with the family life. The family needs to set a good example and not show the youth any bad habits that they could observe and imitate; furthermore, being able to communicate and express the danger to the youth is needed as well. The school has to educate the youth by bringing in experts and showing the dangers of alcohol abuse. The Government of Canada has numerous types of program options available for schools to use. There should be no excuse why schools are not educating their students on alcohol abuse when there is information available to them, such as the Government of Canada website, which has step-by-step processes to initiate the programs. Lastly, law enforcement should present to students on the danger of alcohol abuse. Law enforcement should discuss the correlation between alcohol and substance abuse and the more likelihood of being involved in delinquent behaviors. As a society alcohol abuse among students will never be completely gone, however the more information and support groups given to students to help them cope with the stress of school, the better they will be able to make proper healthy decisions when it comes to alcohol
