Based on my review of this case study, some of the similarities between Mrs. Jackson’s concern and those of health care organizations today is that back in 1930’s, Mrs. Jackson’s was concerned about the need to ensure that the right personnel are recruited and kept in the right position, which is a similar concern for health care organizations today. Another essential similarity is how Mrs. Jackson implemented the same bookkeeping and accounting concept used in today’s health care organization. As a manager that had to fulfill multiple responsibilities, Mrs Jackson was inherently worried about proper maintenance of employee records.
