Indeed, it is highly likely that many contradict the real value of education. Many have different ways of thinking. In making this comment, Mike Rose and David Foster Wallace insist that the real value of education isn 't taught through book, but rather real life experiences. Even though Mike Rose and David Foster Wallace take two different approaches to the real value of real education they are actually in agreement about the important idea that real education has to do with awareness and perception. This common ground becomes clear through observations, explanations, and examples.
Mike Rose claims how his mother Rosie 's job as a waitress demands both body and brain. Although her job doesn’t require a further extent in education as a white collar job, it still demands the usage of the brain. Mike Rose states, " A waitress acquires knowledge and intuition about the ways and the rhythms of the restaurant business." (Rose 245) Psychological perception is put into play in Rosie 's daily life as a waitress by persevering the time a dish will be done and ready to

As an adult a person goes into a daily routine and according to Wallace it is called a "day in day out" You can either choose to keep living on the same routine or switch it up. In discussion of Wallace, one controversial issue has been routine. On the one hand, Rose argues that routine is good because it contends a more stability status and gaining of experience. Others even maintain routine for routine just like Rose or switch up the routine and learn how to cope with situations differently. My own view is to maintain a different routine to learn from experiences, not only for those reasons but also to gain new knowledge on the way such as
