According to procon, “The Second Amendment was added to our Constitution because the founders believed in private ownership of guns was necessary for protection of our liberties.” This shows that they put the amendment so that people can have guns to protect important people. Also, according to Paul Gosar of congress “The Second Amendment is one of the most important rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. The operative text states that ‘the right of the people to keep and bear arms…shall not be infringed.’” This shows that even congressmen agree with this amendment. It means that people should be allowed to carry around a gun with them incase of emergency. If something were to happen they would be ready because they're allowed to carry a gun.Also, on Armed Conflict it says, “the Second Amendment guarantees an individual’s right to have firearms.” This is why people should be able to own guns and use them to protect themselves from intruders or anyone that may cause life threatening harm or danger to a
