This court case took place because of a man named Miller that supposedly transported a shotgun that had a twelve inch long barrel even though the law specifically says that it had to be 18 inches in length to be considered legal. Miller believed that his second amendment right was being violated and that he should legally be allowed to own and use a shotgun with a 12 inch barrel. In the conclusion of the case the court ruled that they were not violating his second amendment right and that he still has to either have a shotgun with a barrel of 18 inches in length or he has to have it stamped to make it legal. I would have to agree with the court on the decision made because I feel that his second amendment right was not being violated. This is because he is still aloud to have a shotgun [although it has to be 18 inches in length] and if he really wanted the shotgun with a 12 inch barrel he could have just gotten it
