Bullying has been around for a very long time. Bullying is when two people disagree on an argument and harms a kid. It can also be when someone is using verbal or hands to hurt someone’s body or feelings. Each time someone gets bullied they get impacted in different ways. Bullying has become a major problem in schools and one of the major places where bullying takes place. Out of all the schools in the US there’s about 1 in 4 schools that kids are getting bullied(Smith-Heavenrich, Sue). Some kids hate when this happens to them so they end up not going to school just to avoid it(Smith-Heavenrich, Sue). Kids will do whatever it takes not to get bullied. About 43% of kids will avoid the bathrooms so they wouldn’t get bullied(Smith-Heavenrich, …show more content…
Many parents believe that television is a bad influence for the kids(McKee, Maggie). They see it as a bad influence for the kids with its violence(McKee, Maggie). With the different kind of action that the characters do the parents see it as a way that their child will pursue onto others. Though this can be a little true if the kid watches cartoons, then the cartoon usually have a good lesson to learn. They can learn that sharing is great or people make mistakes and they can learn from their mistakes. Studies show that kids that are the bullies get higher self-esteem and confidence for activities(Park, Alice). The ones who get bullied by are usually ones who have a higher CRP level(Park, Alice). While this may be a good idea think of what it can do to a victim. Victims can get offended or sad about being bullied that their grades might go down. The kid could not try and end up failing in school. Students can be really impacted in life by bullying. In other studies it is found that kids that do get bullied grow up to be more mature. It shows the child about not all people are not gonna be so nice like what they think. That people are gonna be mean, but they have to deal with it. At the same time bullying can mark a major thing that has happened in the child’s life. When they look back that may be the major thing to happen which isn’t really good to think of. their Parents should be the ones to teach kids about bullying. Kids see parents as a upper person like a worker looks up to their boss. A parent should show the right example for their kids. It might be them causing the bullying so the parents should be more cautious about what they do or say(Schafer, Kim). Teaching their kids how to deal with a bully is a great way to get rid of the bullies. Schools should provide students with educations with bullying. It can be any age to be the ones being taught.
