Physical bullying consists of an individual targeting someone repeatedly. The person bullying is intending to taunt, hurt or harm the person being bullied. Many people physically bully others because of the lack of power they face around other individuals. Families that are not loving and don’t allow their children to express their feelings can be one of the causes for their children becoming bullies.

Bullying effects children and teens both mentally and physically. One factor that has been linked to suicidal ideation is experience with bullying in and around school and the neighborhood (Carney, 2000; High, 2007; Marr & Field,2001). Why does a child feel this way? Children become stressed and unable to deal with the bullying. Which is extremely tragic and can be avoided.
All types of bullying and ways to prevent it can be taught in all schools and be a required course to take. It would help limit innocent victims from being bullied and help kids that bully, realize that doing it can cause long term effects. Children find it difficult to tell someone they are being bullied because, they are too embarrassed by what is happening to them and would rather not address the issue. To help prevent this bullying and tragic events from occurring, lend an ear or hand to anyone in
