In recent years, gun violence has increased significantly in this world. As Americans, we are facing with an ever-growing problem of violence. There are more cases of children and teenagers engaging in violence. There has been a huge debate over whether gun laws are strict enough and solutions for reducing such acts from occurring. With more people are affected on a regular basis, more problems arise as how people can live safely when guns are being used in increasing numbers. It is disgraceful to say that everyday, the public hear about some sort of gun violence affecting people. There were numerous laws passed in order to control gun firing, where few countries, such as Great Britain, Japan, and Germany banned guns due to the terrorist attacks, murder, and homicide rates significantly increase. Whereas, in the United States “Gun Control” is one of the top controversial issues. “41 percent of robberies, and 21 percent of aggravated assaults were committed in U.S” (“Viewpoints Online Collection”). Compared to other countries, U.S has the most dangerous criminal record and causing tension to all the people. According to the “Gun Control Laws”, the first law passed by the federal government was the second amendment in 1791, which gave right to the people to keep and bear arms.
