My mother, a hardworking woman, has recently sacrificed much of her own free time to help alleviate our family during a financially unstable period. As hard as my father works, his job has become deathly slow. Determined to keep up my father’s half of the bills, my mother has ultimately decided to procure a second job. Before acquiring an additional job, my mother had originally worked from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. However, since a second job has been added to her timetable, now she does not return home until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, as exhausted as my mother noticeably is when she gets home, she still miraculously musters up enough energy to cook our family dinner, help me and my siblings with our homework, and support us in our after school activities. Likewise, the work ethic that resides in my father is scarcely dimmed by the work ethic that is in my mother. The amazing man that I fortunately get to call my father works in the oil field. This particular job comes with many cons that regrettably affect not only his individual life, but our families as well. Working in the oil field results in harsh labor hours that could last from two days, to two weeks, usually depending on how many feet the rig may be. Even though my work ethic is noticeably originated from both my mother and father, the attitude and personality that I have discovered in myself most accurately fits that of my fathers. My father and I both like to keep to ourselves and watch from afar as well as worry about how we represent ourselves in front of other people. Similarly, both my father and I individual personalities match one another 's like a brand new pair of socks. Being in a large crowd does not sit right with either of us as well as being the center of someone 's joke.
