What Does Telos Mean To Me Essay

All families place emphasis on certain values and ideals. Often, these morals and concepts were passed down through their family from generation to generation. In my family, perseverance and standing out through success have been an integral part of our telos for hundreds of years. Having been around the success and positive of my family and relatives has made me hungry to make my own mark. I constantly ask myself: Where and what will I do to make a name for myself? Internally, I believe that I will continue to embody my family’s telos because of the positive way that they have stood out in their fields and in my life, and because I believe that they have bettered the world.
