Professional collaboration is a style of interaction between professionals, and families and when it is appropriate students can share information as well. Collaboration means to work together, professionals involved in a collaborative relationship shares different information and important resources relating to their specialty. Professional collaboration can help human service professionals interact with other human services workers to locate the best resources available for clients such as housing, food, and locating job employment. As a human service professional working with others can help build a strong networking system and relationships to help services clients better.

This approach will relate to my area of interest when servicing clients because you have to make sure you build healthy relationships with clients in order for them to trust you with their health. Maintaining boundaries to affirm difference which states we collaborate because we are all different (Meier, 2015 ). Moreover, this approach will help me in my area of interest because I will have to respect my co-workers ideas and be willing to compromise for the well-being of the client.
