Gould and Masters (2004) state that it is through this analysis that professionals can gain a better understanding of their work and adopt a critical attitude towards their professional activity. There are many different methods of reflection; it can be verbal formal or informal or written for example in diary form. Team reflection allows multiple opinions to be gathered for greater insight. For a student, reflection is not merely a part of learning but a skill that needs to developed and enhanced over time, McClure (2005). This means it is important to maintain knowledge, skills and competency throughout your
