Say no to Death
People have been killing other people for a long time now and will continue to do it for a long time now. There is a way that we can all together cause less fatalities though. Although some people believe that the death penalty should be legal, it should not be because it will save the government money on appeals`, it gives people a second chance, requires the criminal to reflect on their actions rather than end their life.
Some people believe that the death penalty is necessary in order keep people safe. They believe it is necessary because people such as terrorist are a harm to us and must be eliminated because they’re a threat to everyone (“A National Survey of Stress reactions after September 11, 2001, terrorist attack”).They …show more content…
Incase people have not yet noticed the death penalty actually leads up to more killing (“Bowman, Jeffrey”)The governments trying to create justice and equality by killing killers, if you think about it though it just leads to more killing, and is a repeat of it so basically an ongoing cycle.How is killing a killer freedom which is why there is so much irony in this.The death penalty is also not used in all of the states of the US because they believe its too cruel (“ Point: Capital Punishment should be abolished”).If everyone is not doing it then we might as well as just completely get rid of it.If we were to do this and it didn’t exist anymore we would be able to have less casualties.There are also a lot of better alternatives than death such as just imprisoning the convicts (“Death Penalty: Guide to Critical Analyze”).Some people are convicted to death while others just get imprisonment, why not just imprison all of them instead of choosing some to live and others to kill. This could show another sign of racism and misuse, how come some are allowed to live while others are killed?Although these topics were kind of random its more examples on why the death penalty wouldn’t be the best option, like there are better alternatives, we should just completely eliminate it and since with it there is just more killing in the
