1. Panel of operators from across the country to discuss what customers are looking for in terms of chicken burger.
2. Interviewing customers during the test market phase of the chicken burger.
3. Conducting a focus group to test revisions to the chicken burger.
Ethical/Legal Factors
Chick-Fil-A is committed to legally comply and uphold their ethical standards for themselves and their suppliers. It is their policy to only conduct business with vendors who have certified to Chick-Fil-A that they operate their businesses in a lawful and ethical manner. Specifically, Chick-Fil-A refuses to do business with any vendor who employs minors under the age of 14, in prison, indentured labor, and benefits from human trafficking, uses corporal punishment or providing goods tainted by any of foregoing practices (ChickfilA4, 2016).
Corporate Social Responsibilities
In the last 3 years, Chick-fil-A has given more than $150 million dollars to charitable and educational organizations (ChickfilA4, 2016). Operators also routinely give countless donations to local communities across the US.
