“Food is everything that we are. It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It’s inseparable from those from the get-go.” The career of being a chef is an intense job, because of the cooking time being so rigorous. Every cut, slice, and chop being so precise. Also, the self dedication you must have to pursue such a fast pace career. The research will describe the career of being a culinary chef, what is required to become a successful chef, and the impact this career has on society. What makes being a culinary chef so intense is the thrill of being in a kitchen where every aspect of the kitchen works faster than your two feet can walk. You must be on top of everything and everyone. As the Executive chef you are in charge of everything as far as preparing the meals, designing the menu, having lower chef’s on task, and making sure that food goes out to the customer in a timely fashion. Being a chef is all about cooking, and being a leader. Managing a well organized kitchen is a key to being a great chef. Furthermore, managing time plays very important role in getting things done.
