On the morning of September 11th, 2001, 19 Islamic extremists hijacked 4 airliners and performed 4 suicide attacks (9/11 ATTACKS). The attackers collectively took the lives of 2,996 people. After this happening. America celebrates 9/11 which commemorates the lives of the people that were taken by 9/11. The attacks were blamed on the 19 Islamic extremists, however as time has passed theories have developed as to who responsible for the attacks. While there are several theories present today, some are more credible than others.

Among the theories of 9/11 is the claim that the airliners’ fuel was not hot enough to melt the skeleton of the towers, suggesting that there might have been another cause to why the towers collapsed. This fact supports the idea that once the planes hit the towers, there is no way that the towers would collapse, because the jet fuel does not achieve the temperature required to melt the structure of the building. This claim states that the jet fuel from the airliner would not reach a temperature high enough to melt the structure of the tower. “Jet fuel burns at 800° to 1500°F, not hot enough to melt steel (2750°F)...”(Debunking the 9/11 Myths: Special Report - The World Trade Center). Even though jet fuel does not melt steel beams, “...experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn 't need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength” (Debunking the 9/11 Myths: Special Report - The World Trade Center).
