May 2, 2011, the United States finally got revenge after ten long years. Osama bin Laden planned the attack on the Twin Towers in New York on September 11, 2001. Our United States government started to plot out the prosecution of him in August of 2010 (History 1). We were watching the Abbotabad Compound (History 1), in Abbotabad, Pakistan, a town North of Islamabad (Bigelow 1). He was living in the compound with his family, friends, and protectors. He kept many files and hard-drives of all his work in a room on the second floor of the house (Bigelow 1). His planning was not over, he was the leader of al-Qaeda. He was keeping a lot of people around the world constantly worried. The assassination of Osama bin laden was justified because of his actions in the terrorist community, but he was seen as a leader to many people. …show more content…
This hypothetically killed the whole terrorist group of al-Qaeda. He planned the attacks proposed by al-Qaeda all around the world, got the money, and carried a lot of the hatred mostly towards the west. He was born into a wealthy family in Saudi Arabia. This wealth helped fund the numerous terrorist attacks proposed by al-Qaeda (History 1). The United States came up with a very strategic and well thought out plan to kill Osama bin Laden. He was killed by U.S. Navy Seals on May 2, 2011 (History 1). This proves justification of bin Laden’s assassination because the group that he was leading was creating a mass amount of damage to people, their homes, cities, etc. Without bin Laden, al-Qaeda would have no power to control and hurt our world’s
